​To cultivate, just be
Allow true nature to manifest
Seek not, just be
What you seek is already inside of you

Strive on, unattached
Open and aware
Let outcome take care of itself
Do your best along the way

Be good, kind, compassionate
Express love as much as you can
Don’t expect others to reciprocate
They may have other plans

You don’t control what others do
Or the path that they are on
Self control has to be enough
Correct your transgressions if you can

Be forgiving, know good nature exists
In almost everyone
Try to see it
Even when they can’t

Practice principles every day
Bring the best of who you are
Train mind to recognize the flow of thought
Cling not, peace will not be far

Engage with the world, don’t just retreat 
To simple isolation zone
Manifest awareness in your daily life
More joy your spirit will own

Be humble, don’t think you know it all
Mistakes happen to all of us
With patience, diligence, self correction, care
Conditions will be thus

Don’t expect anything from anyone
Yet carry on, be still
Let true nature manifest itself
A vehicle of nature’s will
