Frustration

​In life, there will be times of frustration,
when you can’t seem to get what you want.
Blocked, denied, stifled,
obstruction of ends, your ego will taunt.

Misunderstood, misinterpreted, judged wrong,
not given the benefit of the doubt.
Unable to find the flowing groove,
negativity trying to creep in from without.

At these times you must be persistent,
steady, consistent on the course you have chosen.
Believe that the path is the right one,
in time, bonds that hinder will loosen.

Lead even when others can't seem to follow,
things will work out better in the end.
Be true to the core value of your purpose,
set the pace, advance without need to defend.

Don't succumb to doubt, fear or malice,
rise above idle complaints and criticism.
Listen to credible sources and opinions,
disarm detractors with humor and witticism.

Convince others to join in your battles,
adjust tactics, be open to changing.
Adapting to conditions around you,
evolving, growing, mind rearranging.

Keep track of the progress you are making,
even in dark times there is light somewhere else.
Have faith in yourself and your mission,
success and fulfillment are yours for the taking.
